What is recorded here

The site (Wth 0.68m; D 0.24m) consists of light brushwood, laid 3-4 pieces deep, and occasional twigs in the drain face. The brushwood is irregularly laid, widely spaced and lacks a discernible structure. A number of pieces are worked to chisel points. One piece of brushwood and a twig were identified as alder. The site is in poorly to moderately humified Sphagnum peat. A less substantial deposit of brushwood and twigs was noted 2m to the S but its relationship to the site is unclear.
