A loose arrangement of brushwood on the field surface (L 1.77m min.; Wth 0.84m; D 0.125m). The site consists of ten light pieces of brushwood, laid two pieces deep, which are widely spaced and lack a discernible structure. One of the pieces is set at 50° and may have functioned as a peg but it is possible that its position is the result of machine activity. Four pieces were cut to chisel points. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. An additional piece is extant on the adjacent field surface but its relationship to the main site is unclear. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
