What is recorded here

The site (Wth 1.3m; D 0.1m) is orientated NW-SE and composed of a thin, compact layer of brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.06m) with occasional roundwoods and some twigs. Birch, hazel, ash and willow are the species present. A number of toolmarks were recorded. One end of the site has been milled away while the other slopes into the peat at an angle of 20°.
