Two parallel, overlapping roundwoods (Wth 0.22m; D 0.14m). The roundwoods (diam. 0.07-0.085m) are in moderately humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat. This is one of a number of sites running along the line of a possible palaeo-channel orientated in a N direction across the bog, including SMR OF010-453----, 1.43m to the N, which is 0.4m above this site. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
