An irregular deposit (L 1.15m min.; Wth 0.26m; D 0.075m) of three pieces of brushwood (av. diam. 0.035m) and two portions of a wooden artefact in opposing drain faces. Metal toolmarks are evident on a worked end. The wood is in good condition and set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with ericaceous matter. The two unrecovered artefact fragments, together with a third recovered fragment from SMR OF010-114---- (01E0477:1), are parts of a single perforated artefact of ash. SMR OF010-114---- is 14m to the NE and SMR OF010-112---- is 0.15m below SMR OF010-113----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
