What is recorded here

The site (L 1.7m min.; Wth 1m; D 0.05m) is orientated NNW-SSE and consists of longitudinal brushwood and occasional twigs on the field surface. Toolmarks are not apparent but a number of pieces demonstrate evidence for tearing. The sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat. A roundwood and a piece of brushwood, both of which have been worked, are also recorded nearby in displaced positions. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
