What is recorded here

An irregularly shaped roundwood, (L 0.39m; Wth 0.26m; D 0.4m). The piece is extensively worked on both ends. This site is located to the S of an area in which a number of similarly isolated pieces are recorded and may be related to a disturbed feature. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
