The site (L 0.65m min.; Wth 0.86m; D 0.05m) is orientated NW-SE in the drain face. It consists of compact light brushwood, laid two pieces deep, a single roundwood and a peg set at 45°. One element has a metal-cut chisel point. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Phragmites. A piece of brushwood located below the site less than 0.5m to the E may have been dislodged from this site. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
