The site (L 3.78m; Wth 0.98m; D 0.49m) consists of a single plank superstructure on a substructure of planks and brushwood in the drain face. Two possible oak pegs are also incorporated into the structure but these appear to have been disturbed. The superstructure and the substructure are set at approximate right angles to one another but the site has no discernible orientation. The planks are radially split. Woodworking is evidenced by a mortice in one of the substructural planks and by a worked end on one of the pegs. It is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. The site was dendrochronologically dated to 948±9 BC or later (Q9527).
