What is recorded here

The site (Wth 1.1m; D 0.06m) consists of three widely spaced, oak planks in the drain face. The planks are orientated E-W and a damaged mortice is evident on one of the radially split planks. The site is situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin).
