What is recorded here

The site (L 1.906m; Wth 2.16m; D 0.2m) is composed of oak planks, one roundwood and a piece of brushwood on adjacent field surfaces. The planks are both longitudinally and transversely laid, two planks deep. A single plank has a possible mortice but it is poorly preserved. The piece of brushwood has been cut to a wedge point. The site is situated in well-humified Sphagnum peat and was dendrochronologically dated to 1081±9 BC (Q9520). SMR OF007-086---- is located c. 5m to the S.
