No remains visible of a ringfort survives, site of a limekiln built into the side of a natural hill which is quarried at east. Ringfort was located to the W of Sheean House. Described in 1977 as 'a large subcircular or oval shaped earthwork. A massive bank survives on the S.W , W and NW sides, there is a wide shallow fosse outside this on the western side. The interior and the remaining part of the perimeter have been disturbed by quarrying and it is almost impossible to trace the perimeter on the northern and eastern sides. There is the possible outline of a house in the S.W part of the ringfort and remains of a low stone wall in the western part. A number of trees grow in this part of the interior. This earthwork is on a low ridge or hill with wide views in all directions' (ASI file 1977).
