What is recorded here

Human remains, discovered at the edge of a gravel ridge at Clonascra near Clonmacnoise in August 2001, were excavated by Anne Carey under licence no. 02E636 on 21 May 2002. A single prone human skeleton, 1.5m long, was orientated north-east/south-west. No finds were associated with the skeleton, which was in poor condition. Potential enclosure (OF006-014----) located 36m to the N of this burial. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien. Date of upload: 23 May 2011
