A single stake (diam. 0.035m) at an angle of 50° in a drain face, 0.55m below the field surface. It was cut to a chisel point and the wood is in moderate condition. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
