What is recorded here

The site (L 2.3m min.; Wth 1.9m) is orientated SSE-NNW and composed of an irregular arrangement of birch and hazel roundwoods and brushwood (diam. 0.013-0.065m). The wood is more dispersed towards the edges. Roundwoods and brushwood are laid in a criss-cross fashion at the centre of the site. The upper wood is fragmentary and in poor condition while the lower elements are well preserved. Several pencil point ends were recorded as well as a half-split roundwood of hazel. Compiled by: Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College Dublin). Date of upload: 23 May 2011
