A single birch roundwood (L 0.25m; diam. 0.06m) located in the side of a drain. The exposed end is cut to a wedge point with degraded toolmarks. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1992. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
