Not visible at ground level. Site appears to be that of a natural glacial hillock with no man-made features visible. Potential monument identified by T. McDonald as part of an archaeological survey of the Clonmacnoise region in 1987 (McDonald 1987, 8). Human burial (OF006-135) that was excavated by Anne Carey in 2002 under licence no. 02E0636 was located 36m to the S of this potential enclosure.
