On top of high ground in undulating countryside with two standing stones also known as the 'King's Stone' to the S (OF006-026----) and E (OF006-005----). Known locally as the 'King's Stone' this large pillar stone (H. 2.1m; 1.3m x 0.6m) is aligned NW/SE with the top of the stone sloping from N to S with evidence of packing stones at its base. One of a group of three standing stones. Not marked on first two editions of the OS 6-inch maps which may indicate recent date for this group of stones.
