What is recorded here

'Corlains Well' identified as a holy well in 1987 survey of the Clonmacnoise area (McDonald 1987, 7). This appears to be a secular well with no religious associations. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
