Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00634 Dimensions: Unknown. No cross recorded. This stone is known only from a note in the 'Bishop's Book' (1684) recording a visit to Clonmacnoise by the Bishop of Meath of the time. Inscription: 'IAH AN SHANALY MORERTAGH O MURRY ASPUG CLONE KEAN MEE' noted by the Bishop of Meath. Evidence of discovery: 'Bishop's Book' of the Bishop of Meath 1684. Condition: Now lost.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
