Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00459

Romanesque graveslab outline cross inside a frame. Both the cross and frame have heavy mouldings. The design on this fragment has been all but obliterated. Now located in Temple Ri, Clonmacnoise.
No inscription.
Evidence of discovery: Davis 1984.
Condition: Just a fragment of a large, badly worn, slab.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
