Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00423
Dimensions: H 0.425, W 0.45
Fragment of an outline expansional cross with slightly larger than semicircular terminal. Observe of CLN00335.
Inscription: Upper line damaged. Lower line 'ANNGENI'. Macalister has it as 'TIPRAIT[EMAC] ANNGENI'
Evidence of discovery: Drawn by Boxwell from a rubbing by J. Graves. Petrie 1872.
Condition: Flaked/damaged fragment with part of terminal.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
