Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00417
Dimensions: H 0.36, W 0.25, T 0.036
Damaged remains of a semicircular terminal expansion and possibly part of a cross arm with interlace or cord work. There seems to be an outline border, with fret patterning, joining the terminals. Incorrectly drawn by Macalister.
Inscription: There is part of an inscription 'DAM'.
Evidence of discovery: Macalister 1898-1905.
Condition: Cement damaged fragment - terminal/arm/inscription.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
