Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00228
Dimensions: H 0.67, W 0.36, T 0.045
An unusual outline cross with hollow angles and four line ring (concentric circles) with lozenge shaped centre containing a roundel. The angles also have roundels. It is inside a frame decorated with fret pattern.
Inscription: 'AILBE' is inscribed across the upper arm of the cross inverted in relation to the cross.
Evidence of discovery: OPW 1954-58.
Condition: Large fragment very badly worn since 1954.
