Clonmacnoise grave-slab inventory (1992) number: CLN00026 Dimensions: Not known. 'Sketch pf the cross - with triangular expansions and corner loops.' This may be the slab reffered to in the margin of the Annals of Tigernach chronicling the death of in 1156 of Toirrdelbach Ua Comcoboir and his burial 'beside the altar of Ciaran' (Macalister 1949, 71). Inscription: Chronicles the death in 1156 of Toirrdelbach Ua Comcoboir. Evidence of discovery: Macalister 1949 Condition: Now lost.. The Clonmacnoise inventory was compiled by the Office of Public Works. A copy of the record for this slab is available for inspection in the relevant Archaeological Survey of Ireland (SMR) file.
