A regular deposit of twenty pieces of brushwood and occasional twigs on the field surface. A large volume of woodchips in the area indicate that the upper levels of this site have been removed. Most of the elements are dispersed and orientated N-S. A number of metal-cut toolmarks are evident. The wood is machine damaged and desiccated and set in well-humified Sphagnum peat. SMR OF003-022----, SMR OF003-024---- and SMR OF003-025---- are within 5m of this site, on the same field surface. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
