What is recorded here

Located on a SW-facing slope. It is depicted as an embanked oval enclosure (ext. dims c. 30m N-S; c. 20m E-W) only on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in gothic lettering as a ‘fort’. A portion of the bank (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m) survives at S (Chord 9.3m ENE-WSW).
