Located on a knoll at the bottom of a NE-facing slope and c. 30m S of a NW-SE stream. It is depicted as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) described as a ‘fort’ in gothic lettering only on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map. The top of the grass-covered knoll is flat (diam. c. 30m) and faint traces of a scarp survive W-N. Archaeological testing (21E0212) by L. Clarke c. 10m to the W at the closest point produced no related material (excavations.ie 2020:069).
