There is local knowledge of a souterrain in the bank of rath (MO030-032001-) at NNE, which is said to have had a lintelled entrance, but it is no longer evident. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 25 August 2017
