What is recorded here

Located on SE-facing spine of a small NW-SE ridge. It is depicted as a circular feature on the 1859 revision of the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map and as an oval feature on the 1907 edition. This is an oval grass-covered mound (dims 40m NW-SE; 26.5m NE-SW) with some bushes that is locally known as ‘the Rock’, and which may be a natural feature. Date of revision: 12 December 2017
