Located at the S end of a short N-S drumlin ridge. This is an oval grass and scrub-covered area (dims 56.5m NW-SE; 46m NE-SW) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at E: Wth 5.3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 2.5m) separated by a fosse (at E: Wth of top 4m; ext. D 0.6m) from an outer earthen bank (at E: Wth 3.9m; ext. H 1.3m) E-SW that is incorporated into a field bank elsewhere. The banks are best preserved at NW and SE where they cross the ridge. The entrance through the inner bank (Wth of base 1.7m) and causeway (Wth of top 4.9m; H 0.9m) are at SE, but the entrance through the outer bank is blocked. There is a sunken area (L 9.9m; Wth 3.6m; max. D 0.85m)inside the perimeter at NW with a spur (L 6.8m; Wth 4.3m) at one end that is probably a collapsed souterrain.
