Located at the crest of a SE-facing slope. This is depicted as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in gothic lettering as a ‘fort’, and it is represented as an arc of hachures S-W-N morphing into a curved field bank N-E on the 1907 edition. This is a D-shaped overgrown area (dims 27m E-W; c. 15m N-S) defined by a scarp (at NW: Wth 1.8m; H 1.1m) W-N incorporated into a field bank N-E. There is no visible fosse or evidence of the S part of the monument. Rath (MO023-021----) is c. 75m to the WNW.
