Located towards the SW end of Inner Lough, c. 430m from the SW end and c. 130m and c. 100m from the nearest points of the NW and SE shores of the lake. It is depicted as a small island on the 1834 and 1907 editions of the OS 6-inch map. This is an overgrown cairn (diam. 14m; H 1.2m over the water) at the N end of a natural ridge (dims 22m NW-SE; 14m NE-SW) with no structural features visible but animal bones are present on the surface. There is deep water immediately off the ride on the W and N sides.
