Located on the summit of a drumlin and just outside the perimeter of Rath (MO017-028----) at SSE. It has a roughly rectangular cross-section at the base (dims 0.6-0.75m NW-SE; 0.4m NE-SW) with a NW-SE ridge (L 0.55m) at top (H 1.15m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
