A potential roundwood structure evidenced by a single roundwood exposed in part on the field surface close to the drain edge. The roundwood is aligned NW/SE and probing with a bamboo provided a minimum length of 1.30m. It was not visible on the opposing field surface or in the opposing drain face. The wood is broken from milling and situated in raised bog peat with Eriophorum. The roundwood was sampled for radiocarbon dating and wood species analysis. ME046-074---- lies 15m to the west of ME046-073----, another peatland structure. (Bermingham 2014)
