What is recorded here

This site was located in the industrial peatlands of Kinnegad Bog. It was first recorded as two parallel roundwoods exposed in section in the drain face 0.8m below the surface. The roundwoods were not visible in the opposing drain face, and were lying parallel to one another. They were each 0.06 m in diameter. The monument sat in raised bog peat with Eriophorum (Bermingham 2014). Upon excavation in 2015 (licence 15E0176) the site was found to be no longer extant (Whitaker 2017).
