What is recorded here

Two pieces of light brushwood on the field surface. The pieces are in poor condition and both elements have degraded chisel points. This site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with pockets of Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument. Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 05 March 2009

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
