Located on a slight rise in a level landscape. The parish church of Kilmore (ME043-042----) is within a subrectangular graveyard (dims c. 65m WNE-ESE; c. 35-50m NNE-SSW) defined by earthen banks and trees. Headstones dating from 1734 to 1960 have been recorded (Moore 1975, 39-45), but burial continues to the present. The 16th century graveslab (ME043-042002-) is displayed just S of the church, and the churchyard cross (ME0432-042003-) from here is now displayed outside the Roman Catholic church at Moynalvy (ME043-028001-), c. 2.5km to the NW. A section of roadway (ME043-042004-) survives just to the N with the field system (ME043-041----) to the N of it.
