What is recorded here

Located on a rise in a fairly level landscape. Human bones were recovered just beneath the surface in ploughing during October 1969. The remains of about 12 individuals were recovered from a confined area (diam. c. 50m) in the middle of a large field that had not been ploughed in living memory. No grave-cuts or orientation of the remains could be detected, and no artefacts were recovered in surface collection. No evidence of an enclosure has come to light on any aerial series.
