Located on the plateau of a broad low hill, just NE of ring-ditch (ME038-071001-). This (38) is the C-shaped arc of a round-bottomed fosse (max. Wth 0.55m; max. D 0.24m) SW-W-NE that enclosed a D-shaped area (dims 21.85m NE-SW; 10m NW-SE). There is a gap (Wth 1m plus) at NW but is W side was cut by a kiln (ME038-071011-). A shallow rectangular pit (dims 2m NW-SE; 1m NE-SW; max. D 0.1m) filled with a grey-brown sandy clay over a setting of small stones at its base is at the centre of the ring-ditch. No artefacts or dating material were recovered. (Rathbone 2009, 7-8)
