What is recorded here

Located on the plateau of a broad low hill, c. 20m ENE of ring-ditch (ME038-071002-) and c. 30m NE of the central barrow (ME038-071001-). This (10) is the arc of a round-bottomed fosse (max. Wth 0.36m; max. D 0.14m) with a rounded terminal at N. It enclosed S-W-N a D-shaped area (dims 12m N-S; 6.5m E-W), but the S terminal was removed by a kiln (ME038-071009-). Its fill was a grey sandy clay with some charcoal flecks but no artefacts or dating material were recovered.
