What is recorded here

Situated on a fairly level landscape. It is not depicted on any map but this feature is visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: N 92, 93) from the 1970s and later series. This is a subcircular grass-covered mound (dims 17.5m NW-SE; 15.5m NE-SW; H 1.4-1.8m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
