In December 1955 an inhumation burial was discovered during quarrying operations near Breemont. The grave pit (L 2m, Wth 0.36m) was aligned E-W. The individual (E001142) was 'reasonably advanced in years'. In the absence of any associated finds the date is uncertain (Cahill & Sikora 2011, vol 2, 407-8).
