There is a tree at the centre of the church (ME030-019----) with a plaque (Wth 0.45m; H 0.4m) commemorating Robert Baron Trimbletown, dated 1687 at its foot, but the plaque was once at the well (Cogan 1862-70, 2, 369). A corner of the stone is damaged, but the inscription in roman letters reads: ...FOR THE / (US)E OF ROBERT / (L)ORD BARON OF / TRIMLESTOWN / 1687.
