Circular area defined by circle of large pits within which were concentric lines of burials revealed in excavation by P.D. Sweetman. C14 dates centred c. 2000 BC. (Sweetman 1985, 195-221). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
