Situated on a slight S-facing slope. A geophysical survey (09R207) identified numerous potential archaeological features in a development site of about 18 ha (c. 45 acres). Archaeological testing (09E0544) confirmed the presence of an E-W wall (Wth 1m) with a metalled (Wth c. 8m) surface located c. 7m to the N. The road extends outside the development area to the W and its full extent is not known. (Walsh 2010, 13; 2012)
