Situated in an undulating landscape at the S foot of the Lough Crew ridge. A circular or D-shaped grass-covered feature (dims c. 45m NNE-SSW; c. 35m WNW-ESE) feature with the straight edge at E is visible on Digital Map (c. 2013), what might be an outer fosse SW-N. It is also visible on OSI images (c. 2018) and on Google Earth (05/10/2009; 12/07/2013; 24/03/2017; 16/03/21). It was first reported by Liam Kenny.
