Situated on a slight rise in a fairly level landscape. This a raised and grass-covered subcircular area (dims 33m ENE-WSW; 27m NNW-SSE) defined by an earthen bank (at WSW: Wth of base 6.5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.2m) SSW-W, which is largely reduced to a scarp (at ENE: Wth 3m; H 0.3m) and hedge. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. Part of the perimeter has been quarried at SSE.
