What is recorded here

Situated in a gently undulating landscape. St. Kevin’s Well (ME015-056011-) is across the road to the SW of the site of the early church of St. Caomhan Breac that became the parish church of Diamor (ME015-056001-). Six steps lead down from the road to the well, and there is a young rag tree where the well emerges into a stream. This is a replacement for an old ash tree that fell in 1971 (Moore and Kenny 1976, 33). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 17 June, 2014
