What is recorded here

Situated in a little fold on the summit of Carnbane West c. 8m N of passage tomb A1 (ME015-003012-). This stone is a sandstone (dims of base 0.95m x 0.3m; H 2.1m) with a roughly pointed top but it is now lying prone and roughly aligned NE-SW with the top at SW. Conwell (1866, 360; 1873, 49) says that it once stood on its narrow end but there is no evidence that it ever stood upright. This monument is not accessible to the public at the moment.
